The Company
LLEAF produces luminescent films for the high-tech greenhouse industry. These films are incorporated with our patented spectrum-shifting dyes.
With LLEAF Grow, we are making our films available to individuals - all you need to get started is a backyard garden bed such as a VegePod.
The Team
We are a passionate and diverse team based in the Northern Beaches, Australia. With backgrounds in agriculture, research, and academia, we aim to bring high technology solutions to backyard growers, allowing everybody to harness the power of sunlight.
Sunlight is still a largely untapped resource for accelerating plant growth.
Our photo-luminescent dye is incorporated into polycarbonate and extruded into a film.
This film is then installed into greenhouses, protected cropping structures, or backyard garden beds.
Light passing through the film is shifted towards the red side of the spectrum, which plants can photosynthesise better, leading to yield increases of up to 35%.
